Il s\u2019agissait de cr\u00e9er \u00e0 l\u2019instar de \u201cVolkswagen\u201d, le \u201cVolksschlepper\u201d tracteur du peuple. Le cahier des charges pr\u00e9cisait qu\u2019il devait \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 bas co\u00fbt. Il devait \u00eatre \u00e0 la fois robuste, fiable et d\u2019un emploi universel. <!--more-->De ce projet d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par les ing\u00e9nieurs Porsche sont n\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de 1938 plusieurs mod\u00e8les. kg<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9marrage du tracteur :<br \/>\nSur l\u2019essieu avant, un emplacement est pr\u00e9vu pour ins\u00e9rer la manivelle servant \u00e0 d\u00e9marrer le moteur. La partie pro\u00e9minente avant correspond \u00e0 la chambre de pr\u00e9combustion. Lorsque le moteur est froid, il est n\u00e9cessaire de mettre une m\u00e8che pour r\u00e9chauffer la chambre. Il faut ensuite ins\u00e9rer la manivelle sur le lanceur situ\u00e9e sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 oppos\u00e9 de la poulie. Ensuite il faut actionner la manivelle \u00e0 la force du poignet. Apr\u00e8s quelques tours de manivelle, la temp\u00e9rature du carburant inject\u00e9 s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve provoquant l\u2019inflammation du gasoil vaporis\u00e9. Le moteur d\u00e9marre en \u00e9mettant un panache de fum\u00e9e, il \u00e9met le bruit caract\u00e9ristique d\u2019un monocylindre diesel.<\/p>\n<p>Allgaier un refroidissement par bouillotte :<br \/>\nLe bloc moteur est entour\u00e9 d\u2019un r\u00e9servoir d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 50 Litres d\u2019eau. L\u2019eau en s\u2019\u00e9vaporant, sert de r\u00e9gulateur thermique, d\u2019o\u00f9 le nom de bouillotte attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette technique n\u2019exigeant pas de radiateur. La contrainte, non des moindres, est la surveillance du niveau d\u2019eau afin d\u2019\u00e9viter une surchauffe qui serait fatale au moteur. En contrepartie, l\u2019importante capacit\u00e9 du r\u00e9servoir permet d\u2019envisager une demi-journ\u00e9e de travail sans avoir \u00e0 surveiller l\u2019autonomie.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e9cautions \u00e0 prendre pour l\u2019usage d\u2019un tracteur \u00e0 bouillote :<br \/>\nLa simplicit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me de refroidissement conna\u00eet ses limites car il faut surveiller assez souvent le niveau d\u2019eau au risque de serrer le moteur en cas de manque.
